13 to 0! Can’t we save some of those runs for other games?
After losing more games than I care to note here, the Astros smother the Cardinals. Why is it that whenever the Astros when they win big–by, say, 13 runs–and whenever they lose it is by one or two runs? I don’t know but I wish they would spread the hits out into more games instead of just the few routs of the year.
Oh yeah, and big kudos to Rookies Matt Albers, who pitched shutout ball through the 8th, and soon-to-be-quite-famous Hunter Pence on his first major league grand slam.
