Four things…

I am combining a meme from mamacita and one from an old e-mail I never answered. Here goes the “Four Things” meme:

Four Things to Do Before I Die

  1. Throw out the first pitch at a MLB game
  2. Visit thirty different countries (only twenty-five to go)
  3. Celebrate my 5othWedding Anniversary (for those keeping score at home, that means I would have to live to be 76 years and 363 days old; I better change some bad habits awfully fast to make it there)
  4. Write a book

Four Jobs I Have Had – I know these are repetitive but I’ve always worked in libraries!

  1. Library Facilities Assistant (work study job)
  2. Circulation Supervisor
  3. Librarian (I through IV at various times)
  4. Chief of Central Services

Wait, I was in a band and we made a little money. Does that count?

Four Movies I Can Watch Over and Over

  1. Raising Arizona
  2. Rushmore
  3. Best in Show
  4. Hot Fuzz (I think although I have only seen it the one time)

Four Places I Would Want to Live

  1. Austin or somewhere in the TX Hill Country
  2. San Francisco
  3. Boulder, CO or a small town near that area
  4. Vancouver, B.C. (never been but hear great things)

Four TV or Radio Shows I Love

  1. This American Life (the radio version; haven’t seen the TV version)
  2. Lost
  3. The Office
  4. Arrested Development

Four of My Favorite Dishes

  1. Tofu Bun from Mai’s (Houston) or Kim Phung (Austin)
  2. Chicken Hogados Burrito at Berryhill (Houston)
  3. Chicken Fried Steak
  4. Pot Roast (it took me years to admit it but it is true)

Four Web Sites I Visit Daily

  1. MLB.com
  2. Facebook
  3. Amazon.com
  4. Gmail and Google Reader

Four
(or five) Things I Love

  1. My Family
  2. Books
  3. Baseball
  4. Bluegrass
  5. My Job

As other before me, I am tagging all who read this. That means you, Otrops! And, that means Letitia has to start her own blog!!!
